Founder & CEO
Marie A. Wells
Marie A. Wells has a true heart for the arts. Her innate ability for singing opened doors for her at a young age to sing and travel, perform in stage plays and organize talent shows. Now she uses her talents to Educate, Nourish and Sustain Youth Whose World Evolves Around the Arts.
Wells is a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Her parents, John Wesley Willingham Sr and the late Rochelle Lorain Scott-Willingham reared her near the Historic Sistrunk District.
Wells' talent paved the way for her to perform locally and internationally. She’s appeared with celebrity gospel artists on television, braved crowds in outdoor festivals and concerts, led congregations into an atmosphere of worship, and recorded and released her own Christian and gospel music.
Along her journey, Wells has used her voice for more than singing. She’s also given her voice to community service, so it’s no surprise she’s melding her music and mission to work more intently with youth. A lifelong pursuit has been realized with the establishment of Marie A. Wells Arts and Education Center Inc.; a 501c3 nonprofit organization.
